Palmetto GBA which covers hospice services for Medicare
providers in 16 states has issued their length of stays for Non-Cancer patients
for the period of July 2014 to December 2014.
They have used the formula based on a percentage of patients that have
length of stays that exceed 210 days.
For example if the percentage of 0.15 means that 15 out of 100 Medicare
beneficiaries has lengths of stay that exceed 210 days. We have attached a link below that shows the
activity in each of the 16 states the Palmetto GBA serves.
